Wipro is hiring an AWS DevOps Developer in Bengaluru to develop Helm/Kubernetes manifests, deploy to OpenShift clusters, and build GitLab CI/CD pipelines for financial-services workloads.
Description
Primary work focuses on developing Helm/Kubernetes manifests and deploying them to OpenShift (OCP) clusters, then integrating deployed applications with peripherals such as Splunk, Prometheus, and DX-APM as required. Some applications use shell scripts to automate deployments — you will understand and modify or create scripts accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Develop Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests; deploy workloads to OpenShift clusters
- Integrate deployed applications with Splunk, Prometheus, DX-APM, and related observability tools
- Create and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments
- Modify and create shell scripts for deployment automation where needed
- Collaborate with development teams on container packaging and release workflows
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL for database design, optimization, and cloud-native integration
- Strong CI/CD experience with GitLab CI/CD and Ansible for automation
- Solid programming skills in Java and Python
- Familiarity with Splunk for log aggregation and analysis
- Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault for secrets management
- Understanding of ATM Payments Switch systems in financial services (preferred context)
- Experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Preferred Qualifications
- Helm charts for Kubernetes application packaging and deployment
- Shell scripting for operational automation
- Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
- Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring
